The Petrolina Group has revealed its plans for an ambitious project known as "Larnaca Land of Tomorrow," which is one of the most extensive private developments ever undertaken in Cyprus. Covering an area of 400,000 square meters, the project aims to transform Larnaca into an attractive hub for tourism, business, and residential development. The project will be located in the former site of oil and gas facilities and bears the signature of Foster + Partners, a prestigious global architecture firm, showcasing the scale and significance of the planned development, working alongside UDS Architects and Delfi Partners & Co. The project will focus on sustainable development and public access to the 2.5 km coastal front, without the construction of tall buildings. According to Ben Scott, Foster + Partners' Senior Partner, the project's completion will create 8,000 jobs and 8,000 new homes, with 20,000 trees planted, a museum, pedestrian streets, bicycle paths, shops, offices, and dining areas. The project is inspired by Larnaca's rich history and aims to create a new, sustainable, mixed-use coastal development, serving as a catalyst for further revitalization of the city and its surrounding areas.
